Why Newt Gingrich's Association With GE's Jeff Immelt Matters in 2012?: Newt's Role in Obamacare



In the middle of the healthcare battle, former conservative Newt Gingrich did a peculiar thing. He joined forces with socialist Jeff Immelt, CEO of General Electric, and Tom Daschle to help get Healthymagination off the ground. As car companies who were given bailouts were downsized, General Electric with its $140 billion in government bailouts expanded creating Healthymagination all while Obama was pushing for national healthcare. read more
