Dick Morris is as smart as they come, so I have been waiting for him to say what I have been preaching here all week; Bachmann is about to make a comeback.
I don't want to hear about Morris and his kiss of death. Remember, he was saying the republicans would tsunami the House and come close to winning the Senate when everyone else was calling him crazy.
Besides, I have been saying that she is on the verge of a run a full week before Morris came out with this video. If you don't like Morris, try thinking that a surge from Michele is so likely that even he has got it right.
Don't get me wrong, I am not a die hard Bachmann fan. I just want the most conservative and the most electable candidate to win.
Bachmann was my first choice. That is why I built this site a few months back. But I gave her up and got all giddy for Perry, then I Jumped on the Cain train for a while, but both of them turned out to be big flat flops.
After that I was starting to get all excited about Newt. But this time I paused before I made an ass out myself -- again. I started remembering why he wasn't my first choice to begin with. He wasn't my first choice because he is at best a lukewarm conservative who has so much baggage that I was afraid that he would get killed by the left.
I was right then, and I am right now by going back to my first love. This time I am going stick to my principles.
Like I said, I believe that Newt is going to fall hard when liberal media start bringing up his past, and that Bachmann -- as Dick Morris has just advised --is poised to surge in Iowa. All she needs is a little push.
If not, we are going to end up with Romney as the primary winner.
Most of the major conservative blogs are pro Bachmann but reluctant to come forward. They are afraid that they might lose a few hits from conservatives who are supporting the current front runners.
That is too bad, because with the internet and the new media the way it is, and with the Teaparty trying it's best to find an anti Romney, this is a very strange and unique time is our country's history. A very few people -- or one person -- could have a huge impact on a presidential election.
Right now, even a small showing of support from a few well respected blogs -- or blog--, could start a chain reaction that could propel the last viable "Teaparty" candidate to a win in the Iowa caucus.
If I am wrong I will start backing Newt, because right now he is the next best thing... Maybe a little trial by fire will make him electable.
We will see after Iowa!
Update
It has already started. Dave at Moonbattery has proven that he is more concerned for the country than for losing a few hits.
Thanks for the link Dave.
